An automotive client needed a die-stamped terminal for an electric motor. They required the die to be designed and built as well as manufacturing of the part. We produced a progressive die based on a customer-supplied part print and die-stamped the terminal using tin pre-plated, full-hard, C110 copper. We ensured we met the tightest tolerance of +/- 0.001″ (+/- 0.025mm). The part measures 0.032″ (0.81mm) thick, 1.260″ (32.0mm) long, 0.197″ (5.0mm) wide and 0.197″ (5.0mm) high. This part is supplied using a stock-and-release program with just-in-time delivery to our client located in Mexico.
